Ylang Ylang Extra Essential Oil

Ylang Ylang Extra Aromatherapy Oil is the highest quality Ylang Ylang Essential Oil available.

As the name suggests, it is the version of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil which is most potent.

The extraction of essential oil from the Ylang Ylang flowers takes 14 hours. Ylang Ylang Extra Essential Oil is the first draught of essential oil taken from this process.

There are three more draughts of essential oil extracted after the first draught. They are known as:

  • Ylang Ylang I Essential Oil
  • Ylang Ylang II Essential Oil
  • Ylang Ylang III Essential Oil

There is another very high quality version of this exquisite oil. It is known as Ylang Ylang Complete Essential Oil because it is a blended Ylang Ylang Oil containing all four versions of oil, extracted via the distillation process.

There is another aromatherapy oil which has very similar characteristics to all versions of Ylang Ylang Essential Oil. It is called Cananga Essential Oil.

Cananga Essential Oil is made from the same species of plant used to make Ylang Ylang Essential Oil. However, Cananga Essential Oil is from a slightly different variety of the same species.

Cananga Aromatherapy Oil is even very aromatically similar to Ylang Ylang Essential Oil… it’s essentially just a more toned down version, less aromatic and more earthy, which is preferred by some.

But, the real beauty of Cananga Essential Oil is its bountiful anti-inflammatory abilities, which equal those of Copaiba Essential Oil…

Cananga Essential Oil is a fantastic addition to [our] ‘Wild’ essential oil collection. It is very helpful for pain relief just like copaibia but with an uplifting mood effect as an added bonus for us.
The pain my wife suffers from is early osteoporosis and a frozen shoulder, I have a stiff hip that manifests after too much physical hard work.
My wife has really appreciated the massage oil, which has really aided her frozen shoulder, either made with 2 drops of copaibia essential oil or cananga essential oil. Both are as equally good as each other.
Also, when taken orally, 2 drops morning and night, we found that the copaibia essential oil is more calming emotionally whereas the cananga essential oil provides more of an up mood.
