Can I buy Wild As The Wind Products in person in the UK?
Yes, it is possible to buy products directly from Wild As The Wind if you visit one of the events or markets where Wild As The Wind are exhibiting.
Wild As The Wind participates in a good number of events each year in the South West.
You can find Wild As The Wind at events throughout the year in:
- Devon
- Somerset
- Dorset
- Wiltshire
- Cornwall
Wild As The Wind can often be found at the Saturday market in Bridport, but attendance cannot be guaranteed.
This is partly due to weather conditions, but also because it can clash with important events.
To avoid disappointment, the Wild As The Wind Online Shop has been set up so that people can always have access to the products they’ve fallen in love with.
Can I buy the full range of Wild As the Wind products at events?
Sadly, it isn’t possible to offer the full range of Wild As The Wind essential oils at markets and events.
Wild As The Wind offer 200+ essential oils which are sold in up to five different bottle sizes.
There are also over 40+ carrier oils in the Wild As The Wind UK Carrier Oils range, which again come in a number of different sizes.
It isn’t possible to transport all of the product options available. This is why this online shop is so important.
Can I buy Wild As The Wind products online if I live outside the UK?
Very sadly, since Brexit, it hasn’t been possible for people to place orders via the Wild As The Wind Online Shop from outside the UK.
Wild As The Wind UK Online Orders
The Wild As The Wind online shop is a vitally important resource for Wild As the Wind customers.
Wild As The Wind attend markets and events to raise awareness of our existence, because very few people have the stamina to search for natural skincare and essential oils from a trustworthy, independent business online.
However, carting essential oils and natural skincare products around, from pillar to post, is not the best thing for them. Labels get damaged in transit, and displaying products outdoors is not ideal. Essential oils can be damaged by extremes in weather, and much prefer to be kept in a controlled environment.
This means that buying Wild As The Wind UK essential oils online is often the better option.
What forms of payment are supported by the Wild As The Wind Online Shop?
Wild As The Wind can only accept payment for online orders via this Wild As The Wind Online Shop.
This has been made as easy as possible for you. All major debit and credit cards are supported by the Wild As The Wind Online Shop.
PayPal is also accepted.
Only automated means of payment are accepted by the online shop.
This means that none of the following means of payment are accepted for online orders.
- Telephone payments
- Bank transfers
- Cheques
Can I order over the telephone?
With regret, no, this isn’t possible. Wild As The Wind does not have the means of processing payments over the phone.
Can I order via email?
Regretfully, it isn’t possible for Wild As The Wind to process requests for products via email. Products can only be dispatched once all of your delivery information is provided and payment has been made in full.
It is not possible to accept payment via email. Nor is it feasible to individually explain all of the information required to process an order.
Can I order on Social Media Platforms?
Wild As The Wind does not advertise items for sale via social media.
We are not currently stocking theWild As The Wind Etsy shop, which we used to operate with a very restricted product range.
We have discontinued the Etsy shop because most customers want access to the full Wild As The Wind product range. This has always meant that customers need to use the Wild As The Wind Online Shop.
When you order via this Wild As The Wind Shop, the costs to Wild As The Wind are a lot more manageable. This helps us to keep the cost of Wild As The Wind products as low as possible for you.
Can I collect In person?
Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to collect your online orders in person.
Can I email you to ask you to add an additional item to my order?
It’s surprising how many people forget to order all of the items they wish to purchase in one go. Unfortunately, this means Wild As The Wind end up fielding a lot of emails requesting that an item be added to a pre-existing order.
Sadly, this isn’t possible, because the payment has already been finalised when the order is approved. This is beyond the control of Wild As The Wind, as payments are handled by third party payment facilities. This means that order payments cannot be modified without attracting additional charges for amending an order.
Wild As The Wind is charged a fee for every payment made for online orders, and incurs another fee for performing refunds, whether partial or in full.
As an order is finalised once it has been placed by you, and for all of the other reasons relating to payments listed above, it also means that it isn’t possible to remedy the situation via email, or over the phone etc.
Nevertheless, if you follow these steps, every effort will be made to send you all of the items you need in one parcel.
- Please do not email or telephone Wild As The Wind. This wastes your time and ours.
- Instead, simply place a second order through the Wild As The Wind Online Shop for the items you forgot to add to the first order.
- Let us know that this is the second of two consecutive orders within the Notes on the order page. Look for Order notes (optional), and leave your comments in the field below. Simply state “This is the second of two orders – please add these items to my previous order if possible”.
- If your second order attracts a postage charge, it is with regret, this cannot be refunded. Coordinating refunds is very time consuming and Wild As The Wind are charged for issuing refunds. It is not feasible for Wild As The Wind to lose time and money in an effort to remedy customer mistakes.
If you place a second order before Wild As The Wind has fulfilled your original order, then best efforts will be made to include these items in with your original order, so that you will receive everything as soon as possible.
If Wild As The Wind has already fulfilled your original order, then sadly, it will not be possible to merge your orders.
Please remember… if the cost of postage has been applied to one or both of your order(s) the cost of postage cannot be refunded. Refunds are time-consuming and costly for Wild As The Wind to process, and whilst we are more than happy to make refunds when there is an error on our part, it is not feasible for us to also pay for the cost of your mistakes. Unfortunately, you are responsible for those.
However, Wild As The Wind never charges for the packaging materials used to make up your order, (jiffy bags, void fill etc.). Nor do we charge for the time it takes to make up your order. We also don’t charge you for delivering your parcels to the post office etc… So, we are already happily shouldering a lot of the costs of processing online orders for you. x x x
Missing Parcels

Admin Charges
Wild As The Wind reserve the right to apply admin charges for the time it takes when dealing with any issues relating to the management and delivery of your orders.
During the Covid-19 lock down parcels have taken longer to be delivered Very occasionally I have been subjected to daily, or twice daily emails demanding to know more about the whereabouts of people’s parcels, within a day or two of the order being posted.
Parcels are currently sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class post, which can take up to 5 days to be delivered under normal circumstances. During lock down this has been extended to 10 days because postal delivery people are thinner on the ground. This is because at the first sign of any symptoms postal workers are sent home to self-isolate for 10 days.
Despite a call for patience, after all of the available facts have been outlined clearly, certain customers have demanded I take further action to ascertain the specific location of their parcel. Some have demanded I contact the already heavily overworked Post Office staff for further information.
Dealing with these unfathomably unreasonable requests takes time, and as all of the Wild As The Wind products are hand blended or hand bottled in the UK, time, as a ‘cost of production’ is costed into the retail price of Wild As The Wind products. This means that when time is wasted on fruitless and unnecessary tasks, the cost of the products go up.
I have a fiduciary responsibility to all of my customers to keep unnecessary administrative burdens to a minimum so that the cost of the Wild As The Wind products don’t have to be a penny more than they need to be.
This is why I levy admin charges when dealing with troublesome situations.
Admin charges protect the whole.
